Beach Road Magazine has received good feedback from the readers who liked the cover of the November Issue. There were also questions regarding the article that warrant clarification.
In the article titled "Blessings," the writer discusses Ms. Jeanette Gutierrez Rocher's Thanksgiving experience both on and off-island.
Jeanette's first attempt at cooking her Thanksgiving dinner was actually 15 years ago when she moved to Phoenix, Arizona as a flight attendant. It was her first time to be away from home and it was not without problems as she had never tried doing it on her own before that...not to mention she'd encountered problems with a broken oven. (Some readers thought this experience happened only last year.)
Fifteen years down the road, Jeanette is no longer the young lady who had problems with her first Thanksgiving turkey. She'd like to think her cooking's improved at least a little bit since then.
One thing the other readers have been asking if she's single. The answer is "Yes!"
